Terms & Conditions

  • Hired outfits are made up of different garments, that you must return at the end of the contract. Excluding the shirt.
  • Hire garments cannot be altered in any way. Please note charges will apply if any garments are altered by you.
  • Sometimes your final outfit may require extra attention, our team members are able to help if any issues are identified early enough as detailed below. We will always endeavour to help you but at times the team may be limited due to warehouse despatch times.
  • When selecting a hire outfit, we recommend discussing the fit of the outfit, as not all outfits are suitable for some body shapes.
  • Ensuring we keep you up to date regarding your order is as important to us as it is to you, so please ensure your contact details, including your phone number and email address, are correct.
  • You may receive other documents from us during the order process, such as order forms, confirmations and till receipts. Anything contained in these T&Cs will take priority, then an order form, then a till receipt.
  • You confirm you are 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom. If you are under 18, we will need the consent of your parent or guardian before hiring goods to you.
  • Once we have confirmed your order in writing, there is a binding contract between you and us and no other party has any right to enforce any contractual conditions.
  • Each individual order will end when all hired garments in the contract have been returned to us. When it ends, this will not affect our right to receive any money which you owe to us.
  • If we ever mention the “Grand Total”, this means the total amount payable for the whole order (that is, all of the individual orders together) including VAT where applicable.

We want to do our best for your event, and we require your help ensuring you and your group members (if applicable) follow the key sizing guidelines below:

  • All remaining groomsmen can be booked in for fittings anytime between now and 6 weeks before the wedding.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure all groomsmen come to store for an official fitting.
  • Self-measures can be taken from those unable to attend an in-store fitting. A note will be made by us on your order for those who have self-measured.
  • If at the time of the fitting any groom/groomsmen didn’t feel happy with the sizes given you must inform us before the cut off date (4 weeks before).
  • Kids grow up fast and we know this can be difficult when measuring, therefore we recommend booking an appointment for measurements closer to the time of your function. We require junior range hires to be measured no later than 4 weeks prior to the date of your function.
  • For any order not sized by 3 weeks prior to the collection date, A Farley Suit Hire cannot guarantee supply of outfits to exact sizes or ranges.
  • Failure to provide sizes 3 weeks before your collection or delivery date will result in your order being automatically cancelled and treated as a cancellation by you.

It’s almost time for your function so we want to ensure you look and feel your best and our team are there to assist with those final touches.

  • You will need to come to store to collect your outfits. A courier service is not available.
  • Suits will be ready to collect from 3pm on the Tuesday before the event. We will call you to arrange a collection time slot.
  • Bank holidays, Christmas & New Years can affect our delivery schedule. We will continue to contact you regarding your actual delivery date.
  • Upon collection of your suit(s) we ask that all members of your party try on the entire outfit at home as soon as possible to ensure you are satisfied with the fit. It is the customers responsibility to report any issues with the garments to Farley’s suit hire before 12pm on the WEDNESDAY of the collection week, whereby we will endeavour to put these issues right. (After this time, we cannot guarantee any replacements)
  • If you have been supplied with the sizes, you have signed for at the fitting appointment then a charge of £10.00 will be made to cover express delivery to the store.
  • Please be aware that garment labels may state a different length and sizes. Please try everything on before calling us as alterations have been made and the garment may fit.

  • All hire items must be returned before 11am on the Tuesday after the event date. Unless agreed by us for bank holidays, Christmas, New Year and/or extended hire.
  • A charge of £15.00 per suit per day will be payable for garments returned after 4pm on the Monday.
  • Damaged garments will be charged at their full replacement value.
  • Non-return of hired items will result in a charge of £400 per outfit.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure you only return the hired items to A Farley Suit Hire. We shall have no liability whatsoever for items you return which were not included in the original hire order from us.

Sometimes things don’t go to plan. We are usually able to move the function date of each individual order to a different date or make other changes (see below), but if you need to cancel your order, and do not want the outfit anymore, the cancellation charges are as follows:

  • Orders cancelled within 14 days of ordering will receive a full refund, unless the function date is within 28 days of ordering, in which case the below charge will apply.
  • Orders cancelled between 15 days of ordering and 6 weeks before the function date will result in a £20 charge.
  • Orders cancelled within 6 weeks, but no later than 3 weeks before the function data will charge 50% of the security deposit.
  • Orders cancelled within the 3 weeks of the function date will result in a charge of full security deposit.

  • We require a £100 credit, debit, or cash deposit to book all orders. This will be refunded to you one week after all suits have been returned and checked.
  • Any charges that have occurred during suits being out on hire with yourself will be deducted from your deposit. (Replacement sizes, Late returns, etc.)
  • Please allow up to 1 week from returning your suits for the deposit to be refunded back to you. Please call the store and we will refund onto the card you originally paid with over the phone.

Accidental damage can sometimes happen to garments; therefore, we want you to be reassured that you’re covered for any accidental damage.

  • ADW cover is an additional purchase (£30.00) you can make on top of your hired outfit, which, if required, must be taken out before receiving your outfit.
  • ADW covers the following: buttons coming off, spillages, stains, small splits down garment seam that can be repaired.
  • ADW cover means that in the event of any accidental damage to the garment(s) prior to the return or pick-up date, you will not be charged for the damage.
  • ADW cover does not cover unreturned garments, loss of items, or intentional damage. Therefore, we require that you keep hold of everything, including the suit bag and hangers, to avoid additional charges.
  • Top hats, top hat boxes and kilts are also not covered by ADW cover.
  • Without ADW cover, you may be charged for any damage to the outfit.

  • You can make changes to your order in store, over the phone or via email. Changes are not guaranteed and will only be accepted by us once we confirm them in writing.
  • All changes are subject to availability.
  • Regretfully, we will not be able to process any changes received 21 days or less before the agreed collection or delivery date.
  • If you change your order for any reason, we may charge you a fee.

  • We might need to make changes to your order or an individual order, although we will try our best to make sure this does not happen.
  • Changes to items: Sometimes we might not have the garments you want to order or the sizes you have requested, in which case we might provide substitutes.
  • Changes to dates: If an order is not ready for delivery or collection in time (or is ready earlier) we will let you know.
